Sand Bar on Mississippi

On the Mississippi River in the late winter sun, we each drew lines while trying to remember the widows in Iraq.  I tried to encompass the little sand bar with lines on the shoreline.  This seemed comforting and complete.
Ana connected beautiful curvy lines, thinking of feathers, while Dinah marked widows and casualties with marks, and cross-out marks.   The warm Saturday traffic didn't disturb the tranquility down on the river. This was perhaps the most meditative event of 43 days.
