East Wind - Thorndale - 9,000 Lines on Day 20

On the soft sand the thin but packed snow broke apart concealing many lines and turning into a sort of high-contrast camouflage. It also reminded me of Three Cups of Tea author Mortenson getting lost following a trail down the mountain.  It was hard for me to follow my own path - sometimes I drew over two rows of lines before I noticed and corrected my path.  Counting one-by-one, each individual mark, is still an imprecise science when such large numbers are combined with field conditions.
